Ingredients
1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2–3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips (optional)
1 tablespoon almond butter (optional)
Pinch of sea salt
Fresh berries for garnish
Instructions
1. Add cottage cheese to food processor and blend until completely smooth, about 2-3 minutes
2. Add cocoa powder gradually while processing to prevent clumping
3. Pour in maple syrup starting with 2 tablespoons, blend well
4. Add vanilla extract and pinch of salt, process until combined
5. Taste and adjust sweetness with additional maple syrup if needed
6. Add almond butter if using for extra richness, blend until smooth
7. Fold in chocolate chips by hand if using for texture
8. Transfer to serving cups or storage containers
9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours for best texture
