Ingredients

Scale

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin on or off

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 large lemon, juiced and zested

2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 2 tsp dried)

1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 lemon, sliced for garnish

Fresh parsley for serving

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F and line baking sheet with parchment paper

Pat salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels In small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, and thyme

Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides

Place salmon on prepared baking sheet and brush with herb mixture

Top each fillet with a lemon slice Bake for 12-15 minutes, until fish flakes easily and reaches 145°F internal temperature

Let rest 3 minutes before serving

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately

Notes

Use meat thermometer to ensure 145°F internal temperature

Don’t overcook – salmon continues cooking after removal from oven

Fresh herbs provide best flavor but dried herbs work too
